Italy suffer a setback! Player to return to his club

Unpleasant news has emerged from the Italy camp: Inter defender Federico Dimarco has left the national team’s training camp early due to an injury.

Details: The player underwent a medical examination, which confirmed that he will be unable to feature in the Azzurri’s upcoming matches. To fill the void on the left side of the defence, the coaching staff promptly called up Atalanta defender Matteo Ruggeri, who has been handed the chance to prove himself at international level.

The exact recovery timeline for Dimarco will become clear after he returns to his club for a detailed examination by Inter’s medical staff. At this stage, the footballer is expected to be fit to face Parma, with the match scheduled for October 10.

This season, Dimarco has made five appearances for Inter in all competitions, registering one assist. The Milan club have made a confident start to the campaign, collecting 13 points from five matches and currently sitting second in Serie A.
