The club’s hierarchy reportedly believes Barella is the ideal candidate to completely revamp and strengthen the midfield, a line that has occasionally let Arne Slot down this season.
Inter aren’t ruling out the sale of one of their key players, but have made it clear that they won’t consider letting Barella go for less than €75-80 million.
This season, Barella has featured in 35 matches for the Nerazzurri, scoring once and providing seven assists. His current contract with Inter runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €60 million.
