The Club World Cup is set to kick off in its revamped format on the night of June 15. The tournament opener will feature Al Ahly Cairo taking on Inter Miami. The head coach of the Florida side shared his thoughts ahead of this much-anticipated encounter.

Details: According to Javier Mascherano, this match won't be an easy one for Inter Miami, despite playing at home, as Al Ahly is used to performing in front of massive crowds.

Quote: "Honestly, we expect a lot of Egyptian fans to attend the match, as teams like this always attract their supporters who travel to back them. That's why I believe the game will be extremely challenging, even though we're playing at home, because a club of Al Ahly's caliber is accustomed to playing in front of top coaches and huge crowds," commented the Inter Miami head coach.

The opening match between Al Ahly and Inter Miami will kick off at 2:00 AM Central European Time. Porto and Palmeiras are also in the same group as these two sides.
