The Spanish specialist earns over 923 thousand euros before taxes every month. Luis Enrique holds the position of the highest-paid coach in the French championship, earning at least 3.5 times more than any other coach. This surpasses the earnings of former PSG coach Christophe Galtier, who earned 665 thousand euros.
In second place in Ligue 1 is Monaco's head coach, Adi Hütter, with a monthly salary of 250 thousand euros. Sharing third place are Patrick Vieira (Strasbourg) and the Portuguese coach of Lille, Paulo Fonseca, both earning 220 thousand euros per month.
The lowest earners in the French championship are Pascal Gastien (Clermont, 40 thousand euros per month), Michel Der Zakarian (Montpellier, 30 thousand euros), and Carles Martinez Novella (Toulouse, 20 thousand euros).
It is worth reminding that PSG head coach Luis Enrique made a significant announcement during his own Twitch broadcast. The Spaniard declared the establishment of a charitable foundation named after his late daughter, Xana Enrique. The foundation's aim is to raise funds to help children battling cancer.
