It is known whether Xavi will receive compensation for terminating his contract with Barcelona

Barcelona has decided to dismiss Xavi Hernandez from his position as head coach at the end of the current season. They have already found a replacement in Hansi Flick.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish coach and the club have officially agreed to terminate the contract. Xavi had one year left on his contract, but he did not request compensation, as he always stated. He will only receive €2.5 million, which were the costs incurred for his transfer from Al-Sadd to Barcelona a few years ago.
Recently, it was reported that the coach would not be lenient on this matter, understanding that the amount is manageable for Barcelona. It is believed that the unresolved issue with Xavi is delaying the signing of the contract with Hansi Flick, and once this problem is resolved, Barcelona will announce the appointment of the German coach.
It is worth recalling that after a 3-5 defeat to Villarreal, Xavi announced he would step down as Barcelona's head coach. However, the club initially managed to convince him to stay. Later, Joan Laporta was angered by Xavi's comments during a press conference before the match against Almería, where he stated that due to financial issues, the club could not compete with Real Madrid for trophies. This prompted Laporta to decide to dismiss Xavi.
