It is known how much the reconstruction of Old Trafford could cost the Manchester United bosses
Manchester United is planning a stadium redevelopment for the upcoming season, but it could come at a significant cost for the management.
Details: The club, Trafford City Council, and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority have joined forces to maximize the project's potential. According to the BBC, the "Red Devils" have created a working group to explore various options for either reconstructing Old Trafford or building a new stadium. Lord Coe has been appointed to lead this initiative.
It is expected that by the end of 2024, a final decision will be made regarding the £2 billion project to build a new 100,000-seat stadium. Coe believes that this will bring substantial social and economic benefits to the local community and surrounding region.
Reminder: Back in July, reports surfaced that Manchester United's management was considering the construction of a new stadium rather than a reconstruction. The proposed new stadium would be built near Old Trafford.
