It is known how many matches Rodrygo will miss for Real Madrid
Brazilian winger Rodrygo of Real Madrid sustained an injury during a UEFA Champions League match. It has been revealed how long he will be sidelined.
Details: According to journalist Mario Cortegana from The Athletic, Rodrygo is expected to miss approximately three weeks. As a result, he will sit out four matches: against Barcelona, Valencia, Osasuna, and Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid has officially confirmed the injury, stating that Rodrygo has been diagnosed with a muscle injury to his right hamstring.
However, there is a possibility that he could play for Brazil in the World Cup 2026 qualifying matches. These fixtures are scheduled for November 14 and 20, which is 22 and 28 days after his injury. Brazil will face Venezuela and Uruguay.
Reminder: In the match against Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid's starting goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois suffered a muscle injury. The Belgian will definitely miss El Clásico, and his place in goal will be taken by backup Andriy Lunin.
Additionally, two players are currently in the treatment room: David Alaba and Dani Carvajal.
