Brazil are set to begin their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign soon, but it seems one of the team’s biggest stars will not be available at the start of the tournament.
Details: According to Sky Sport, Neymar has yet to train with the national team and is expected to miss the entire group stage of the World Cup.
Brazil will kick off their campaign against Morocco on June 14. They have also been drawn in a group with Haiti and Scotland.
It was recently revealed that 33-year-old Lyon left-back and Argentina international Nicolás Tagliafico will miss La Albiceleste’s opening match against Algeria.
Reminder: The 2026 FIFA World Cup is already underway, with the tournament being hosted across three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Unfortunately, however, a serious threat has emerged over the competition.
