Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa has made a crucial decision regarding one of his key midfielders ahead of the first Champions League quarter-final.

Details: According to AS, star English midfielder Jude Bellingham will not be included in the starting lineup for the home clash against Bayern Munich.

The reason for this decision is the extreme caution shown by the medical staff. Bellingham has only recently returned to action after a serious left thigh muscle injury that sidelined him for 49 days. In his recent appearances against Atlético and Mallorca, he was given only limited minutes (16 and 31 respectively), and Arbeloa does not want to risk his leader's fitness in a high-stakes encounter like this.

It's worth noting that the last time the English midfielder started a game was back on February 1, in a La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano.

Reminder: Real and Chelsea are preparing for a mega transfer.
