Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team are facing a repeat of their worst streak in the English Premier League.
Yesterday, the “citizens” played away against “Aston Villa” and lost with a score of 0:1. Thus, the current champion of England cannot win in four matches in a row. There had been three draws before.
A similar series of failures happened to Manchester City under Pep Guardiola in the 2016/2017 season. Then there was also a series of three draws and one defeat.
It is worth reminding that the Spanish coach has been working with Manchester City since the summer of 2016. Under his leadership, the Manchester team won the English Championship five times, lifted the English League Cup four times, triumphed in the FA Cup and FA Super Cup twice each, and also took the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup trophies.
Now the current champion of the country is in fourth place in the Premier League table with 30 points and is behind the leading Arsenal by six points.
