Issue in the Medical Staff? Real Madrid Loses 11 Players During the International Break
This season, Real Madrid has faced significant challenges with player injuries, a problem that has now extended to the club's reserve team.
Details: According to Marca, Real Madrid Castilla currently has 11 players sidelined with injuries. The team, managed by Raúl, has been struggling with these issues since the season’s opening game. Castilla now sits in 15th place in the league standings with 12 points from 12 matches, having won only two games, drawn six, and lost four.
This situation also impacts the main squad, as these 11 players could have potentially filled in during the international break, with several first-team players away on national duty.
Reminder: Real Madrid is facing serious defensive issues after Eder Militão's injury in the match against Osasuna. Militão suffered a complete tear of his anterior cruciate ligament with involvement of both menisci in his right knee. The Brazilian could be out for 8-9 months.
It’s worth noting that Raúl will leave Castilla at the end of this season. Álvaro Arbeloa, currently coaching Real Madrid's U19s, is set to take his place. However, Raúl will not be leaving the Madrid club altogether.
