Bayer midfielder Florian Wirtz is making headlines in the global media, with top clubs like Liverpool in the mix, as he is widely expected to leave Leverkusen this summer. German national team coach Julian Nagelsmann was asked about his view on Wirtz possibly switching clubs.

Details: The Bundesteam boss didn't say directly whether a move to Liverpool would be good or bad, explaining that he never tells his players where to transfer. What matters, according to Nagelsmann, is that one of the world's best players remains in a similar role to the one he holds at Bayer.

Quote: "I never told players to go here or there. The main thing is that he plays, and that his role is as significant as it is in Leverkusen. We know that he's one of the best players in the world," Nagelsmann stated.

Reminder: Earlier it was reported that Liverpool made an offer to Bayer for Wirtz worth £105 million.
