Is there an injury? The reason why Walker misses the match against Salford is revealed
The reason why Manchester City captain Kyle Walker is missing the match against Salford in the FA Cup has been revealed.
Well-known names such as Jack Grealish, Nathan Aké, Savinho, Ilkay Gündogan, Jeremy Doku, and Ederson have started for the "Citizens," while young players James McAtee, Jamaï Simpson-Puzey, and Divin Mubama will try to impress Guardiola from the first minute.
The 34-year-old Walker has been completely excluded from the squad, and 19-year-old Nico O'Reilly has taken his place on the right side of defense.
Journalist Joe Bray published the reason why Walker was not included in the matchday squad.
"Today's exclusion of Kyle Walker is purely a tactical decision. There is no injury," he wrote.
The match between Manchester City and Salford kicked off at 18:45 CET.
