FA Cup 2024-25 Third Round: Schedule and Results

The third round of the FA Cup kicks off on Thursday, January 9, and runs through Monday, January 13. Fans will be treated to a packed schedule, including matches featuring top clubs.

The 2024/25 FA Cup marks the 144th edition of the world’s oldest football competition, officially known as the Football Association Challenge Cup, or more commonly, the FA Cup.

This season, the tournament features 745 teams, 13 more than the previous season. This is the highest number of participants in 14 years, since the 2012/13 season, which had 758 clubs.

The current FA Cup holders are Manchester United, who defeated Manchester City 2-1 in last year’s final.
