Details: Manager Mikel Arteta discussed that they need to wait a bit longer to assess whether the Spanish goalkeeper is ready to face the Foxes. Raya sustained a minor thigh injury and did not participate in the EFL Cup match.
Quote: "We have to wait 24 hours to see how he looks, whether he’s doing well or not. It’s not about taking a risk; it’s about whether the player is ready and available or not. We will make a decision tomorrow," Arteta explained.
Reminder: Arsenal triumphed over Bolton in the EFL Cup with a score of 5-1. Young goalkeeper Jack Porter started the game for the Gunners. The 16-year-old became the youngest player to start a match for Arsenal in the club's first-team history.
