Liverpool are already looking towards the future, with a potential successor to Alisson Becker emerging on their radar.

Details: According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are closely monitoring Aston Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki as a possible long-term replacement for Alisson. The 24-year-old Japan international has impressed since arriving in the Premier League this summer, attracting attention from several European giants.

Liverpool are far from alone in their admiration for Suzuki. Arsenal and Manchester City are also tracking the Japanese goalkeeper, while Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have added him to their list of potential targets.

The Merseyside club are assessing their goalkeeping options amid uncertainty surrounding Alisson's long-term future. Although Liverpool already have Giorgi Mamardashvili, the Georgian is reportedly not currently considered the definitive successor to the Brazilian.

However, securing Suzuki's signature could prove extremely difficult. Aston Villa have no intention of rushing into a sale, viewing the Japanese international as a crucial part of their future plans. His impressive performances and growing list of admirers could also drive his transfer fee significantly higher.

It's worth noting that Suzuki joined Aston Villa from Parma in August 2026 for a reported £30 million, signing a five-year contract with the Birmingham club.
