On November 16, the Netherlands will face Hungary in the fifth round of UEFA Nations League, League A. And the “Oranje” players are clearly enjoying some good humor together.
Details: One of the players called up for the upcoming matches is Brighton’s central defender Jan Paul van Hecke. When he joined the national team camp, his teammates decided to play a prank on him.
The Dutch players jokingly checked van Hecke’s pockets to see if he had accidentally brought Erling Haaland along with him.
The reason? Just before the international break, Brighton defeated Manchester City 2-1, with van Hecke putting on a stellar defensive performance against Haaland.
Reminder: After four rounds, the Netherlands holds second place in their group with five points, the same as Hungary.
