Is departure inevitable? Manchester City star dodges question about summer transfer
Manchester City's key midfielder and one of the top contenders for the world's best player award, Rodri, has added fuel to the fire of rumors about his potential exit from the English club this summer.
Details: In an interview with Carrusel, Rodri sidestepped giving a direct confirmation of his loyalty to the Citizens.
When asked directly whether he would leave Manchester in the summer transfer window, Rodri gave a decidedly vague response:
“I'm not going to answer that question,” the midfielder replied curtly, immediately sparking a wave of discussion in both British and Spanish media.
He then tried to shift the focus to the team's current objectives, but his comments only deepened the uncertainty:
"Now is the time to think about what we have here and now, about my team and this season—there's a lot on our plate. As for the future... we'll see."
This position is in stark contrast to his previous statements about loyalty to Guardiola's project.
Reminder: Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham took part in Real Madrid's training session ahead of their match against Manchester City.
