Inzaghi does not want to register Cancelo for the second half of the season

Al-Hilal boast a high-quality squad that is currently capable of competing for the league title and the AFC Champions League. However, one player could be set to leave the club.

Details: According to Ariyadhiah, Al-Hilal head coach Simone Inzaghi does not want to include full-back João Cancelo in his squad and is unwilling to register him for the second part of the season. He could leave the club as early as January 2026.

It is also worth noting that the Portuguese midfielder has yet to sign a new contract with Al-Hilal, despite the club having already offered him an extension. His current deal expires in the summer of 2026, and several European clubs have begun to show interest in Neves.

Reminder: The 28-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder Ruben Neves could become a Real Madrid player as early as next summer.
