Interested in business: Lionel Messi reflects on life after football
Although Lionel Messi recently signed with Inter Miami, the Argentine superstar is already thinking ahead to what comes after his playing career.
Details: Speaking at the American Business Forum, Messi admitted he has started to consider his future beyond football, acknowledging that a player’s career doesn’t last forever.
Quote: “Unfortunately, football has an expiration date, and at some point, your career has to end. I’m starting to think about what I might do afterward. The world of business interests me — I enjoy it, and I want to study and keep learning a lot more. I still know very little. I’m just beginning my journey in this field as a businessman,” Messi said.
By the way, at the same event, the Argentine forward was also presented with the keys to the city of Miami by the mayor.
Reminder: Inter Miami striker Luis Suárez will miss the decisive playoff match against Nashville.
