Inter want to sign a new contract with Marcus Thuram due to his release clause
Inter are looking to secure a new deal with Marcus Thuram because of the buyout clause in his current contract.
Details. According to Calciomercato, Inter are considering extending Thuram's contract to ward off transfer interest from top clubs or at least strengthen their position in potential negotiations.
The €85 million release clause in Thuram's contract is considered relatively low given the impressive performances of the French forward. The Nerazzurri want to offer him a new deal that would remove the current buyout clause and increase his salary.
Marcus Thuram, who joined the Milan club in the summer of 2023, has been in superb form, scoring 14 goals and providing 8 assists in 32 matches this season.
Reminder. Earlier, Inter's head coach Simone Inzaghi broke Massimiliano Allegri's record by securing his 200th Serie A win.
