Simone Inzaghi breaks Allegri's record with 200th Serie A victory
Inter delivered a crushing win over Lecce (4:0) in the 22nd round of Serie A. This result marked the 200th victory for Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi in Italy’s top flight as a head coach.
Details: Simone Inzaghi has become the fastest coach to reach 200 victories in Serie A history, breaking the record previously held by Massimiliano Allegri.
The 48-year-old has secured 200 wins, 59 draws, and 73 losses in his 332 Serie A matches. No one has reached this milestone faster, as Allegri needed 338 games to achieve his 200th win.
Recall: Simone Inzaghi made his debut as Lazio’s interim head coach in a match against Palermo on April 10, 2016.
He was officially appointed as head coach at the start of the following season. In 2021, he left Lazio to embark on a new chapter with Inter, where he has since guided the club to the Serie A title.
