Inter targets on Spain national team defender

Inter is targeting Aston Villa's Spanish defender Pau Torres, as reported by Football-Italia.

According to the source, the Nerazzurri are already planning their transfer strategy for the summer of 2025, including the purchase of defender Torres.

It won't be a cheap target, with the defender's price tag reportedly rising to €50 million, but Inter are hoping to get an early start on the transfer window and also include player swaps to bring the cost down.

Torres has played 24 games for the Spanish national team and is a left-back, one of the key roles the Nerazzurri are looking to fill.

Aston Villa acquired Torres, 27, from Villarreal last year for €33 million. The defender played 39 games in all competitions last season and scored 2 goals.

By the way, in early July, Inter announced the signing of the Iranian striker from Porto.
