Inter has chosen Inzaghi's successor. It's not Fabregas

The departure of Simone Inzaghi from his role as Inter's head coach has sent the Nerazzurri on a hunt for a new manager. Now, it appears the process has reached its conclusion and the successor has been identified.
Details: And it's not Cesc Fabregas, as previously reported. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Como head coach has turned down Inter, despite prior agreements, prompting the Milan club's management to focus on another candidate.
That candidate is Parma's head coach Cristian Chivu, with the Romanian now emerging as the leading contender to take the helm at Inter. It's still unclear how the former Nerazzurri defender—who played a pivotal role in the club's 2010 treble-winning side—feels about the interest from Milan.
Reminder: Earlier reports stated that Inter will receive compensation for Inzaghi, who moved to Saudi side Al-Hilal, in the amount of one to one and a half million euros.
