Inter also received compensation for Inzaghi’s move to Al Hilal. How much are we talking about?

Last night, Simone Inzaghi was officially unveiled as the new head coach of Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal. The Italian manager, of course, won’t be lacking in financial rewards. And, as it turns out, neither will his former club—Inter.
Details: According to Alfredo Pedullà, Inter will receive a payment in the region of one to one and a half million euros. This compensation comes because Inzaghi was entering the final year of his contract with Inter, and, as is often the case with players, a hefty transfer fee was not expected.
For the record: Inzaghi has signed a two-year deal with Al Hilal, and the current UEFA Champions League finalist will reportedly earn a staggering 26 million euros per year. The clear front-runner to succeed Inzaghi at Inter is Como’s head coach Cesc Fàbregas.
