The 22-year-old Spaniard has decided to leave the Catalan club in search of regular playing time, and his priority remains competing in Europe despite a lucrative offer from Al Hilal. The move to Inter appeals to the player, and personal terms are not expected to be an issue; however, closing the deal will require an official bid and negotiations between the clubs.

The main stumbling block could be the price tag: Barcelona is demanding around €40 million for their homegrown talent, a sum that seems excessive for most European clubs. Previously, the Catalans were willing to let the midfielder go for €30 million, which Al Hilal tried to take advantage of by offering a package with bonuses. However, Casadó flatly refused the Saudi option, determined to continue playing at the highest level in Europe.

Fun fact: Al Hilal was prepared to include Casadó in a deal for João Cancelo to keep the Portuguese star at Barcelona, but the player also sabotaged that scenario, remaining steadfast in his desire to stay in Europe.
