Inter beat Napoli and maintained the lead in Serie A

Napoli hosted Inter at the home ground in the 14th round of the Italian Serie A. The match turned out to be quite exciting.

Napoli, playing as the home team, had more possession, but both teams created almost an equal number of chances. However, it's worth noting that Inter was sharper in front of the opponents' goal. Initially, a goal by Marcus Thuram for the visitors was disallowed for offside by the referees. Towards the end of the first half, a fantastic strike by Hakan Calhanoglu put his team in the lead.

In the second half, Napoli continued to control the ball, but it was Inter who scored again. Nicolo Barella found the net from a Lautaro Martinez assist. The hosts tried to change the course of the match, but couldn't manage it. Five minutes before the end, using a precise assist from Cuadrado, Turam capitalized from close range, defeating Meret.

Napoli 0-3 Inter

Calhanoglu 44', Barella 62', Turam 85'.

Inter will continue leading the Serie A table, while Napoli allowed Roma to catch up and now sits in the fifth position.
