Injury strikes again. Kai Havertz set to miss upcoming matches
Kai Havertz recently came back from a lengthy lay-off that kept him out for several months with a serious injury, managed to get back on the scoresheet, but has now suffered another setback.
Details: David Ornstein reports that the German forward could miss the next few matches due to a muscle injury. Havertz will definitely be unavailable for the fixtures against Brentford and Tottenham. There is also hope that the issue will not become a major concern for the German national team.
In his last four appearances, Havertz scored twice and provided two assists.
We also reported that Mikel Merino will be sidelined for the next four months with injury. He is expected to miss the Finalissima against Argentina, scheduled for March.
Reminder: Arsenal remain highly active in the transfer market and have no intention of slowing down after their recent high-profile signings. The North London club are currently considering a move for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.
