Andrés Iniesta is truly a legend for Catalonia's Barcelona. And soon, he will return to the environment he knows best.
Details: According to Xavi Torres, the former Blaugrana midfielder, along with another ex-player, Thiago Alcántara, will both make their way back to the Catalan club. Thiago will join Hansi Flick's permanent coaching staff, having previously worked with him. His mission: to bring tactical insight and experience gained at Bayern and Liverpool.
Iniesta will take up a position within the La Masia system, working with young talents and passing on his technical skills and the club's core values.
Reminder: Barcelona is currently busy negotiating the transfer of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, with the Blaugrana only needing to reach an agreement with the Basque club itself. Iniesta played for Barcelona from 2002 to 2018, featuring in 674 matches, scoring 57 goals, and providing over 140 assists.
