Transfer nears completion. Nico Williams agrees personal terms with Barcelona


Barcelona is looking to strengthen its attacking flanks and is now in the final stages of securing the transfer of Athletic Bilbao’s winger.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Spanish international Nico Williams has agreed personal terms with the Catalan club. The deal is set to run until the summer of 2031, with the player’s salary expected to be between €7 and €8 million per year. Barcelona is currently in negotiations with Athletic Bilbao.
Recently, Barcelona president Joan Laporta stated that the club is preparing for two transfers and is not facing any financial difficulties.
Previously, the La Liga president claimed that Barcelona can make transfers, but is not yet able to register new signings. According to him, the club does not yet meet the requirements for free signings and cannot operate under the 1:1 rule for now.
