Serie A legend returns to home club and scores 5 goals in 34 minutes
In the summer of 2024, Kostas Manolas became a free agent after his contract with Salernitana ended. Last week, he signed with the amateur team Panakakiakos and made an incredible debut at this level.
Details: In his very first match, central defender Kostas Manolas scored five goals. Moreover, he completed the pentatrick in just 34 minutes. Just one minute later, he left the pitch. An incredible story for the legendary Greek center-back.
Notably, Panakakiakos is not a foreign team to Manolas. From 2001 to 2007, he trained at this club's academy.
Throughout his career, Kostas has played for AEK, Olympiacos, Roma, Napoli, and Sharjah (UAE). From 2013 to 2019, he was regularly called up to the Greece national team. For the national team, Kostas played 42 matches and scored one goal.
As a reminder: Former world number one Garbiñe Muguruza recently held her wedding. The famous Spanish tennis player married one of her fans.
