"Incredible player". Klopp revealed which Liverpool players he keeps in touch with

Jürgen Klopp revealed that he continues to stay in touch with some Liverpool players after leaving the club, including captain Virgil van Dijk.

“Van Dijk? He’s an incredible player. An incredible guy. So, I miss them. I don’t miss the job, but I miss all the people there. We keep in touch, and we can see each other whenever we want in the future,” Klopp said.

Van Dijk’s contract expires at the end of the season, but Klopp didn’t comment on how the relationship between his former captain and the club might develop.

“I have no idea what he or the club will do. It’s entirely their decision. They’re grown-ups and will figure out the right thing to do,” added Jürgen.

Earlier, it was reported that Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr want to sign the Dutch defender.

Liverpool, now under the management of Arne Slot, started the Premier League season with a win over Ipswich. On Sunday, August 25, the Merseyside team will face Brentford.
