Incredible! Nottingham Forest has matched a unique achievement in the Premier League
Nottingham Forest and Brighton opened the 24th round of the English Premier League. Prior to the match, both teams were considered evenly matched, but the final score shocked the football community.
The "Tricky Trees" left Brighton with no chance, scoring an astonishing 7 unanswered goals. Interestingly, in the previous round, Nottingham Forest suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat away to Bournemouth.
With this victory, Forest matched a unique achievement in Premier League history. The only other team to do so was Sheffield Wednesday in November 1997. They first lost by a margin of 5 or more goals, and in the next match, achieved a similar victory (losing 1-6 to Manchester United, then winning 5-0 against Bolton).
After this round, Forest will remain in third place in the league table and continue their fight for a Champions League spot for the next season.
