Details: Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has completed a hat-trick in the ongoing LaLiga clash against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabéu. It is the French superstar's first hat-trick of the new 2026/27 season and a spectacular response after a quiet opening league appearance.
Mbappé started the match as Real Madrid's central striker and became the main hero of José Mourinho's first home league game since returning to the club. The Frenchman needed just one evening at the Bernabéu to produce his first three-goal performance of the campaign.
The hat-trick is especially notable because Mbappé did not score in Real Madrid's opening LaLiga match of the season. The Madrid side began their campaign with a difficult 2-1 away victory over Espanyol on August 22, when Jude Bellingham and substitute Carlos Espí scored the goals.
Mbappé has therefore opened his personal scoring account in the Spanish championship in emphatic fashion, immediately registering three goals in one match. Real Madrid entered the Sociedad clash looking for a second consecutive league victory after their dramatic success against Espanyol.
It is worth noting that Mbappé also enjoyed a prolific 2026 World Cup, scoring eight goals for France during the tournament.
