Incredible: Haaland becomes the fastest player to reach 50 goal contributions in the UCL
Manchester City hosted Feyenoord in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League, taking the lead late in the first half thanks to a goal from Erling Haaland.
For the Norwegian striker, this was a historic moment. Haaland has now become the fastest player in Champions League history to record 50 goal contributions. He achieved this milestone in just 44 matches, surpassing Ruud van Nistelrooy, who reached the mark in 45 games.
Haaland's record includes 45 goals and five assists in these 44 matches.
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski also made history today by scoring his 100th Champions League goal. He is only the third player to reach this milestone, following Cristiano Ronaldo (140) and Lionel Messi (129).
Reminder: Haaland has already scored 15 goals for Manchester City this season across all competitions.
