Tomorrow, October 12, Spain will face Denmark in the third round of the UEFA Nations League, League A. Ahead of the match, the Spanish Football Federation has unveiled the new jersey numbers that the players will wear.
Details: The most notable change is that 17-year-old Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal will now don the iconic number 10 shirt for Spain.
Previously, this legendary number has been worn by Spanish football greats such as Raúl González, Cesc Fàbregas, Isco, Thiago Alcántara, Santi Cazorla, and José Antonio Reyes.
It's worth noting that during the victorious Euro 2024 campaign, Nico Williams wore the number 10, while Yamal had the number 19.
Reminder: In the first two rounds of the Nations League, Spain earned 4 points.
