A bus with fans was stoned in France
Brest fans became the victims of an attack when they were returning from the away match of the 13th round of Ligue 1 against Montpellier (1:3), the club's official website reported.
The bus carrying the fans was attacked with stones. Some passengers suffered minor injuries. The windows on the bus were broken.
“The incident is very serious. If a stone thrown at the front of the bus had hit two meters lower, the driver would have been injured and this could have led to an accident on the highway. I cannot imagine what tragedy could have happened to 60 of our fans.
We will discuss with law enforcement to better understand what happened. I would like to once again express all my support to our fans and regret that such cases, which could have ended in tragedy, continue to occur,” said Brest General Director Pascal Robert.
It is reasonable to mention thatthe fans have recently attacked the bus with Lyon players.
