On Thursday, August 8, the men's javelin throw final took place at the Paris Olympics.

The gold medal was won by Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem. In his second attempt, he set an Olympic record and a national record for Pakistan with a throw of 92.97 meters.

The silver medal went to Neeraj Chopra from India with a throw of 89.45 meters. The bronze medal was claimed by Anderson Peters from Grenada (88,54 meters).

In August 2023, Nadeem became the silver medalist at the World Championships. In the final event in Budapest, the Pakistani javelin thrower achieved a distance of 87.82 meters.

At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Arshad finished fifth with a throw of 84.62 meters.
