Following Marc-André ter Stegen's serious injury, academy graduate Iñaki Peña has stepped up as Barcelona's first-choice goalkeeper, and his performances have left a strong impression on the club.
Details: According to Gabriel Sans, after the 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona's management has decided to extend Peña's contract.
His current deal runs until the summer of 2026, but the club aims to extend it at least until 2029 and include a significant release clause.
