"Impressed by my role". De Ligt commented on his move to Man United from Bayern Munich

Manchester United has officially announced the transfer of Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich.
The player has signed a five-year contract with the "Red Devils," with an option to extend for an additional year.
Here’s how the defender commented on his move and reunion with Erik ten Hag:
"Erik ten Hag shaped my career in its early stages, so he knows how to get the best out of me. I know what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
During my discussions with Manchester United, I was impressed by the vision laid out by the football management. I was also impressed by the role they have envisioned for me," de Ligt said.
It’s worth noting that Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the right-back from Manchester United, has joined West Ham United. The London club paid £15 million for his transfer.
