“Immigrants have done more for this city.” Billboard aimed at Ratcliffe unveiled near Old Trafford
The owner of Manchester United made highly controversial remarks regarding the situation with migrants in England. However, the club’s supporters have now responded.
Details: On his page, Samuel Luckhurst published a photo of a billboard displayed near Old Trafford, featuring a sharply worded message directed at Ratcliffe.
Quote: “Immigrants have done more for this city than tax-dodging billionaires ever will,” the billboard reads.
Notably, the 73-year-old billionaire, who has lived in Monaco since 2020, had claimed that the United Kingdom had been colonised by immigrants, allegedly causing catastrophic damage to the country’s economy.
Reminder: INEOS released a statement regarding Ratcliffe’s apology, noting his regret that his words had offended some people in the United Kingdom and across Europe, causing concern.
