Novak Djokovic responded with humor to Aryna Sabalenka surpassing his record for most consecutive tiebreak wins at Grand Slam tournaments.

Details: After defeating Canadian tennis player Victoria Mboko 2-0 (6:1, 7:6), the Belarusian claimed her 20th consecutive tiebreak victory at majors, setting a new Open Era record. Previously, this achievement belonged to Djokovic himself, who had won 19 tiebreaks in a row.

The Serbian didn't hide his emotions, but took the situation with a touch of irony. Commenting on Sabalenka's new record, he joked:

"I'm upset right now." Djokovic wrote.

It is worth noting that in the quarterfinals, Sabalenka will face American Iva Jovic, with their match scheduled for the early hours of Tuesday, January 27, at 01:30 Central European Time.

Reminder: Novak Djokovic secured his 400th Grand Slam victory.
