"I’m here to win titles". Werner shared his emotions about returning to the Premier League

Forward Timo Werner has commented on his return to the English Premier League.

On January 9th, Tottenham officially announced the signing of a loan agreement with the German forward until the end of the season.

“I’ve joined a big club, I’m here at Tottenham to win titles. Postecoglou’s calls? The manager straight away gave me the feeling that I needed to join the club, and the way the team plays fits me perfectly” Werner said.

Werner's loan deal includes a buyout option. The potential transfer fee is set at 17 million euros.

This season, the German has featured in 14 matches for RB Leipzig, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Previously, Werner had already played in the Premier League for Chelsea, netting 23 goals in 89 appearances for the Pensioners.
