Catalan giants Barcelona are continuing their search for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, whose contract expires next summer. One of the names touted as a possible successor is Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani.
Details: With Lewandowski’s age a key factor, Barcelona remain active in the transfer market, seeking an experienced striker’s replacement. Interest in Julián Álvarez has cooled, and Harry Kane appears set to stay at Bayern. Amid these unlikely moves, Barcelona have started looking closely at 23-year-old Kosovan Fisnik Asllani. Besides the Blaugrana, Bayern and Borussia Dortmund are also eyeing the player. With a release clause between €25–29 million, a transfer to Barcelona seems possible.

Asllani himself commented on the interest from the Spanish powerhouse:
Of course, I hear and read things like that. It’s an honour, and I feel a little proud of it, but I’m focused on Hoffenheim. On the upcoming matches, weeks and months. That’s the most important thing for me.
We’ll see what happens in the end. Everything in its own time
This season, Asllani has played 14 matches, scoring six goals and providing three assists. According to Transfermarkt, the player is valued at €18 million.
