A new chapter begins in Klopp's career.

Details: During his first press conference as the head coach of the German national team, Jürgen Klopp addressed fans and the German public with an impassioned statement.

"I'm not here for myself. I took this job for you and for the national team. But I saw very clearly how Julian Nagelsmann was treated in Germany. I saw what happened to Thomas Tuchel," Klopp said.

The German coach emphasized that he's ready to face criticism of his work, but he drew a clear line for himself.

"If you think I'm a bad coach—tell me personally. In that case, I'll leave myself and won't ask for a single cent in compensation. But if anyone starts targeting my family, my decision will be the same—I'll step down immediately," Klopp declared.

The new Bundestrainer made it clear he's determined to fully focus on working with the national team, but expects respect not only for himself, but also for his loved ones.
