Iga Świątek reacts to her first career Wimbledon final appearance
Tennis sensation Iga Świątek made it through to the Wimbledon final yesterday, marking the first time in her career she has reached this stage. The Polish star shared her excitement about this milestone with fans on her Instagram page.

She posted a photo of herself recovering after the match, captioning it: “Finalllllll🌱🌱
I love ice bath in days like today 🧊.”
Notably, Świątek delivered a commanding performance in the semifinals, defeating Swiss player Belinda Bencic in straight sets—securing victory 6-2, 6-0.
In the final, Świątek will face another Wimbledon final debutant, American Amanda Anisimova. Anisimova, meanwhile, caused a major upset in her semifinal by overcoming world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka.
For the record, Iga Świątek already boasts five Grand Slam titles—she has won Roland Garros four times and claimed the US Open crown in 2022.
