Liverpool's head coach commented on Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso's decision to remain with the German team.

During the pre-match press conference, the German specialist was asked about his thoughts on the Spaniard not signing a contract with Liverpool and staying in Germany.

"He's doing an incredible job there. They have a fantastic team, and he will likely keep it together. I understand that's what he wants. As for other matters, honestly, I have nothing to say about it," stated Jürgen Klopp.

It is worth noting that Bayer Leverkusen's head coach, Xabi Alonso, has made a decision regarding his future for the next season. Despite interest from Bayern Munich and Liverpool, the Spanish coach will stay at Bayer.
