"I totally disagree with him". Guardiola responded to Roy Keane

Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, responded to criticism from Manchester United legend Roy Keane, who stated that Erling Haaland plays at the level of the fourth division.

“I'm not agreeing with him, absolutely not. He is the best striker in the world and helped us to win what we won last season. He's exceptional”, – Guardiola was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

Haaland is often criticized for his lack of impact in top matches.

The Norwegian striker joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022 from Borussia Dortmund for €60 million. Since then, Haaland has scored 81 goals and provided 15 assists in 88 matches.

In the current season, Haaland leads the Premier League's goal-scoring race with 18 goals to his name.

Today, Manchester City will play their 31st round match in the Premier League against Aston Villa. At the moment, Guardiola's team occupies third place, trailing league leaders Liverpool by three points.
