Manchester City's new central defender Juma Bah shared insights about his childhood and football career in an interview with BBC. The footballer admitted that he used to help his parents with their work as a child.

Bah revealed that his father worked in a bakery, while his mother sold chicken balls. As a young boy, he assisted his parents by taking on various tasks.

"At 4am I carried wood, because my father usually bakes early in the morning," he revealed. I would say he has the best bread in the world. I used to carry the bread to people's shops. My mum used to sell chicken balls on the street. I would usually help pound the meat and after she took it to sell to people. I'm really happy to help my family," Bah stated.

Notably, the 18-year-old footballer made a strong impression in his homeland, Sierra Leone, before moving to Valladolid last year. He played 12 matches in La Liga, and was then signed by Manchester City for £6.75 million. However, it's worth noting that the English club immediately loaned him out to French side Lens after signing the contract with the Sierra Leonean.

Since joining Lens, Bah has already played 2 matches in Ligue 1.
