Tyson Fury admitted that he had to make significant sacrifices to prepare effectively for his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. The British boxer revealed that due to intense training, he not only didn’t see his wife, Paris, but didn’t speak to her for a full three months, reports The Sun.

“It’s been a long camp, been away from my wife and kids for three months. I’ve not spoken to Paris at all for three months, not one word. I’ve sacrificed a lot. It will be worth it (if I win), 100 per cent,” Fury shared.

Fury and Paris began dating in 2005 and married three years later. Over the course of their marriage, they have had seven children together.

Earlier this year, in May, Tyson Fury suffered a defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in the fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship, which unified the WBA-Super, WBO, IBF, IBO, The Ring, and WBC titles. That loss was the first and so far the only defeat of Fury's professional career.

Fury had his first professional fight on December 6, 2008. Since then, he has fought in 36 bouts, winning 34 (24 by knockout), with one draw. He has previously held championship belts from WBA, WBO, IBO, IBF, The Ring, and WBC.
